<h4>Welcome</h4> <p>Springfield Engineering (Stroud) Ltd are specialists in the sub-contract precision machining and assembly of one off to production volume components in any material, predominantly castings from various casting processes up to 5 tonne in weight for the compressor, rail, pipeline and power generation industries.</p> <p><img height="228" src="http://www.springfieldeng.co.uk/images/088%20to%20scale.png" width="340" /></p> <p>Having over 35 years experience and in excess of 30 CNC machine tools both horizontal and vertical, along with large single table machines and the ability to turn up to 1.3 meter diameter. This enables Springfield Engineering to offer customers the flexibility and right economical fit for their requirements. Over the years the business has exceeded the initial target of becoming a 'one stop shop' for our prestigious customers offering project management, development, machining, assembly and pressure testing along with supply chain management including material certification. During this period, market trends demanded the supply of sub-assemblies and complete machine builds, from design to delivery, which in turn led to the creation of a project management service, incorporating concept design, fabrication, machining and fitting<br />1986 Following its incorporation as a Limited Company, Springfield relocated once again to larger premises of 27,000 sq. ft</p> <p><br />2000 As a result of the manufacturing recession of 1999/2000, the company repositioned itself and acquired the production assets of a major OEM of diesel engines.
